Light you
can touch.

Eighteen interactive surfaces built for a fictional web operating system — shader wallpapers, a sprite swarm and painterly studies, each a living thing that answers to your cursor. Move across this page. It's already watching.

The collection

Single-pass fragment shaders — no textures, no images. Every pixel is computed live and reacts to the mouse. Hover to play; launch any piece into the full ULTRA OS.

GLSLfBmDomain Warp
Iridescent
liquid chrome
Domain-warped liquid chrome. The cursor drags a molten lens of color through an oil-slick field.
02 / 18
GLSLNoise Bands
Aurora
polar veil
Polar light over a starfield. Sweep left–right to steer the curtains; rise to brighten the night.
03 / 18
GLSLFlow Field
Silk
woven flow
A woven flow field. The pointer becomes a vortex, combing thousands of luminous strands.
04 / 18
GLSLPolar Mapping
Hyperspace
warp throat
A warp throat you steer by eye. Click to punch into faster-than-light.
05 / 18
GLSLMetaballs
Plasma
gooey metaballs
Gooey metaballs with a will of their own — they drift toward your cursor and pool where you click.
06 / 18
Canvas 2DSpritesParticles
Fireflies
luminous facts
A swarm of glowing sprites that gather to your cursor. Click to spark one — and surface a fun fact about light & color.
07 / 18
GLSLMoiréParallax
Emma
louvered sunset
A sunset over the ocean, sliced through louvered glass. Move to walk the sun across the horizon; steer left/right to open the slats and reveal the full scene.
08 / 18
GLSLPainterlyGaze
Reverie
painted gaze
A living oil painting in blue, teal and gold. An eye emerges from the brushstrokes and follows your cursor; hover to pool the golden light, click to make it blink.
09 / 18
GLSLKaleidoscopeBloom
Prism
kaleidoscope
A luminous kaleidoscope mandala of stained-glass facets. Move to spin and zoom the jewel; click to send a chromatic shockwave through the glass.
10 / 18
GLSLGlyphsDigital Rain
Cascade
digital rain
Matrix-style digital rain — columns of mutating glyphs falling in the dark. The cursor speeds up its column and lights the glyphs around it; click to send a shockwave down the code.
11 / 18
GLSLThin-filmIridescence
Nacre
holographic foil
Holographic mother-of-pearl. Tilt the foil with your cursor and the thin-film interference shifts through every color; click to ripple the sheen.
12 / 18
GLSLSDFNeon
Neon
neon geometry
Floating neon geometry — glowing triangles, a portal ring and soft bokeh spheres adrift in violet space. Move for parallax depth; click to pulse the glow.
13 / 18
GLSLRibbonsBokeh
Orbit
light ribbons
Sweeping ribbons of light with glowing orbs and a warm sun. Move to bend the ribbons toward your cursor; click to ripple across them.
14 / 18
GLSLLensingRaymarch-free
Anna
event horizon
A black hole named Anna. Drag the singularity through the stars and watch spacetime bend — light warps into an Einstein ring around a hot accretion disk and a razor-thin photon ring. Flick it for frame-dragging swirl; click to send a gravitational wave rippling out.
15 / 18
GLSLSandstormEmbers
Wasteland
desert fury
A post-apocalyptic sandstorm. Drag to carve a clear wake through the dust like a war rig; click to set off a pressure blast that clears the air and hurls fire embers outward.
16 / 18
GLSLSDFHeartbeat
Sarah
a beating heart
A love letter, for Sarah. A heart beats at the center and drifts to your cursor while little hearts rise and gather around it. Click to make it pound — the pulse quickens and petals bloom outward.
17 / 18
GLSLTassel PhysicsCap Toss
Freshman
cap toss
A graduation night, for the Class of 2026. Your cursor is a mortarboard whose gold tassel swings with every move and stirs the confetti into a cheer. Click to fling your cap into the air — it spins up, arcs, and bursts into confetti.
18 / 18
GLSLCausticsRipples
Sophomore
sunlit pool
Sunlit pool water. Drag your cursor like a finger across the surface and gentle ripples trail in its wake, bending the caustic light below. Click to send a splash of foam rings and droplets across the water.
About

I make surfaces that respond — code as a material, motion as a conversation.

ULTRA is a study in tactile computation: wallpapers that aren't pictures but living systems. Each is a single GLSL program rendered in real time, designed to be fidgeted with rather than just looked at. Noise fields, flow fields, metaballs and polar warps become things you can push, swirl and ripple.

Built with raw WebGL — no engines, no frameworks — so the whole collection ships as a few kilobytes of math.
